Weekly 5v5 pickup rotations right across the Chambers Street bridge. Open to everyone at Stuy, from first-time players to club regulars.
About Us
StuyFooty was created in 2024 to give Stuyvesant students a reliable, friendly place to play pickup soccer after school. Anyone at Stuy can join and get on the field.
Balanced teams: Everyone gets playing time across rotating squads.
Every Friday after 10th period: Games start at 3:35 PM right after school ends.
Across the street: Battery Park City Ball Fields, just over the Chambers Street bridge.
Club Rules & Standards
StuyFooty is casual pickup, but games run smoothly when everyone respects the field, organizers, and fellow students.
Everyone plays
Beginners and experienced players rotate evenly. Everyone gets time on the ball.
Respect each other
Keep competition positive. No insults, arguing, or unsportsmanlike behavior on or off the pitch.
Proper footwear
Wear turf shoes or athletic sneakers. Metal studs and cleats with sharp blades are prohibited on the turf.
Be on time
Kickoff is at 3:35 PM. If you arrive late, check in with an organizer before jumping into a rotation.
Play safe
No slide tackles or reckless physical contact. Stay on your feet and play clean soccer.
Field care & cleanup
Help with cones and pinnies, pick up any water bottles or trash, and leave the turf field clean.

Games run every Friday at Battery Park City Ball Fields. Bring athletic clothes, turf shoes or sneakers, and water.
Open to all grades and experience levels
Whether you play on a team or just want to kick around on Fridays, StuyFooty is open to every student at Stuy.
